Having a baby is expensive, but luckily there are many places that offer free baby stuff that you can take full advantage of while you’re pregnant. When I was pregnant we were really struggling, and my now ex-husband was fired from 3 different jobs while I was pregnant. I worked 8-10+ hour shifts, and did everything I could to earn extra money on the side including using apps like Ibotta, Swagbucks, I spent my free time was focused on side hustles like Amazon Mechanical Turk (which I earned pennies on).
I was desperate to earn money to be able to prepare for our little bundle of joy. Because of this, I found a lot of great programs and companies that offer free baby products! In this post, I’m sharing some great resources so you can also get free baby stuff while you’re pregnant.
This post contains some affiliate links of products that I highly recommend.
Here’s an overview of all the freebies I was able to get throughout my pregnancy:
As you can see in this pile of free baby stuff you can get full-sized products, samples, and coupons. Getting this free stuff saved me more than $100, and it helped me to not waste money on buying different full-sized products and deciding what I like and what I don’t like.
Here’s a list of the full-sized products:
- A real size pack of wipes
- A swaddle
- A onesie
- 3 bottles
- 3 pacifiers
- 2 diaper totes
- Baby on board sign for the car
- 12 diapers
- 7 packages of wipes
I also loved getting the coupons and samples. Because you can save $100’s by utilizing the coupons, and I found some of my favorite items through the samples. The Aquaphor diaper cream is a lifesaver and I still use it on my 2-year-old. It’s the best diaper cream I’ve ever used for my daughter.
My other favorite sample was a stretch mark cream. I ended up buying a full-sized bottle from Amazon and guess what…this mama doesn’t have any stretch marks on her tummy (cue happy dance). It is by far the best cream I’ve ever found, and my personal experience with it is obviously a really good one. I used it every night after showering and couldn’t be happier with it.
Where to find free baby stuff:
Amazon
If you create a Baby Registry on Amazon they will send you a box of Free Baby Stuff! I literally cried when I got mine because, as I mentioned earlier we were really struggling financially when I was expecting.
Amazon’s free baby box includes different full-sized products (and it was by far my favorite freebie), the products you get might be slightly different than what I got. I had some friends get more than I did, some got a blanket, others got 2 swaddles, but you can expect to get some really amazing and high-quality products, samples, and coupons.
Here’s what I got:
I got 2 bottles, the Bonaire one was my absolute favorite because it reduced the amount of air your baby swallows, which means less spit-up. The swaddle and onesie were soft and high quality. I loved everything I got in the free baby box from Amazon!
How to Get Your Free Baby Box:

This one is by far my top recommendation, it was my gift of free baby stuff that companies will send to you.
Target
Target was my second favorite company to get free baby products from. The way you can get your free goodie bag from Target is similar to Amazon’s. All you have to do is sign up for the baby registry and add some items. Then next time you’re in any Target store just stop by the customer service desk show them your confirmation email and they’ll give you a gift bag that looks something like this:
Here’s what I got:
- About 4 diapers
- Anti-stretch mark cream
- 1 Pacifier
- Aquaphor
- Coupons for pampers
- A book of coupons for Target (for mama and baby)
- 1 bottle that helps prevent colic
- Diaper tote

Here’s what I got:
- Tons of coupons

Babylist
I learned about this one recently and wish I would have known about it while I was pregnant. They will also send you a full box of products to send you once you sign up for their registry, and when you’re creating your registry you can also add gifts that can’t be bought in stores. They’re like coupons for things you’ll need help with once the baby comes. It is so cute and clever and definitely something a new mom will want once baby comes!
I mean seriously, take a look at the example product box they will send you, and the extra gifts you can add that can’t be bought!

Other Freebies:
- Motherhood (the maternity store) I found some preggie pops there, and they were a total lifesaver when it came to combatting morning sickness. Never heard of them? Check them out here. When I was in-store at the register, they let me know I can sign up for their subscription and get $1500 in coupons. I was so onboard withthis and I paid the one time fee of $3.00 for the subscription, totally worth it. They also gave me a goodie bag with some samples, coupons, and a bottle! (But I forgot to take a picture)
- Dr.’s Office. Okay, I don’t know if other Dr.’s offices are as cool as mine but when I went for my first visit after finding out we were expecting they gave us a free goodie bag full of samples. It had some formula, packets of information, magazines, coupons on top of coupons! $400+ in gift cards, I also got 2 or 3 bottles for breast milk storage, and more.
Do you know of any other freebies you can get for yourself or for your baby while you’re pregnant?
Share them in the comments and share this post for your friends and followers who may be pregnant!
